Ayooo....If you've been wondering where I went...well...here is where I went.
For the past several months I've been quiet. No new drops, minimal presence, not a lot of noise. I'm aware that in a space that rewards constant output, going quiet reads as absence. It wasn't. I mean I had a small drop in January but to be frank...it was the opposite. While everyone else was releasing tracks week after week, I was building something else entirely. Something that I can build on, something that doesn't just release and then just drowns away and disappear in the ether....and I wasn't going to show it until it was ready.
Today, April 3rd, this website went live, a platform I built from scratch, no templates, nothing of the shelve, like my music, this was all planned, written and executed by my hands. And with my work, AI did help realize all this. Yet, to be a proper home for everything this project is and everything it's going to become, this needs my brain. No more carrd.co, no Linktree, not a Spotify page, not just a social profile. A place. My new home...Welcome to my world!
The SiteWhy I Built This From Scratch
so yeah, I guess I could have left it with the last one, just collect some Streaming and Social links, have a video shown and call it a day. I could just say screw it and point everything to my YouTube or IG social profile and let the algorithm decide who sees it. But F* that..., because that model gives me nothing anymore... no ownership, no control, no relationship with the people actually listening or care for me. Every stream disappears into a platform's database. With most followers i can't even tell if the account is a bot or not these days. Nah ...I wanted something that was actually mine.
So I built it oer the last few months. Vanilla HTML, CSS, JavaScript. No framework. Cloudflare for hosting, a proper database behind it, object storage for all the media and a truckload of AI tokens to explain me the in's and out's. The whole thing runs on infrastructure I control, which means if a platform changes its terms of service or shuts down tomorrow, this doesn't go with it and it should be robust enough, to throw shit at it and not crumble under complexity.
The goal once was to just have a website. The goal now is to have a place where my work lives properly, where my music, the words, all the content surrounding it, and the community all exist in one space that can be found much easier online.
A Walkthrough of What You'll Find
Here's what the site actually contains, the full picture, not a teaser for something coming later. This right now is all here, now!
A Guy And AI drops May 1, 2026 — 25 tracks. Over 1.4h of music. Pre-save it now.
The People Who Made This Worth Building
I want to be honest about something. The most important thing on this site isn't the music or the writing or the features. It's the community section — and the collab page that sits alongside it.
A lot of people in this space inspired me when I was figuring out what AI music could actually be. Artists who were doing serious work before it was fashionable, before every tech journalist had an opinion about it, when it was just a handful of people experimenting with tools and trying to make something real out of something everything labels as artificial. Some of them I've worked with directly. Some I've just watched from a distance and learned from. All of them deserve more visibility than a passing mention in a Spotify playlist.
I built the community wall because I wanted to give something back: a proper, curated, searchable directory of the people doing real work in this space. Not an algorithm. Not a feed. A page where a name stays up and a link stays live and someone can find you because I put you there on purpose.
The community section is open. If you're an AI music creator, a community, or an organisation working in this space, there are two ways in. Collaborate on a track with me, or add a backlink to aidanyagu.com and reach out. Both get you a proper card. Not a follow. A place on the page.
This Is the Starting Point
I'm not going to pretend this is finished, it's not, no site ever is. My album is still 4 weeks away. The blog is going to keep growing. The community wall needs more people on it. The AI Library prompt wall starts small and gets more useful every time someone submits something worth keeping. The lyrics section will change over time with more tracks releasing and getting added. There's more coming, and I'll keep building as it does.
But I want to be clear about what today is. It's not a soft launch. It's not a beta. It's not "coming soon." April 3rd is the day this went from something I've been building alone to something that exists in public... every word, all my projects and a platform surrounding it build on infrastructure I own.
That took a long time. It was worth it.
If you've been following along and wondering when something was actually going to happen, thank you for staying. I know patience is a lot to ask in a space that moves this fast. What I can tell you is that everything I was quiet about, I was building. This is it. I hope it's worth the wait. Now go check it out and be part of it!
Keep The Lights On
This site runs on real infrastructure, a proper database, object storage, and a lot of hours. I can't promise this will remain forever ad free, but I'll do my best that if that ever happens, it will just be minor (maybe the blog, who knows...). Until then... if the music, the lyrics, the prompt wall, or any of this content gives you something, a coffee and a share go a long way toward keeping things running.
Cheers, Aidan
